Scholarships are Available

Seniors and senior parents, check your emails for available scholarships. Scholarship applications are coming in and deadlines get here early. Seniors can view all scholarships available in Family Connections under the College Tab.

*Seniors graduating early but planning to participate in the June Graduation ceremony:  Be sure to contact Herff Jones at 817-244-4645 to order your cap and gown or you may visit their website at www.hjtexan.com.  You must have a cap and gown!!
 
*Senior Prom is May 5th in the Grand Ballroom at Worthington Hotel from 7pm-11:30pm
More details will follow for the Project Celebration sponsored event after prom.  Stay tuned…

*Top 10% Banquet – May 16th @ 6:00pm in the AHS Cafeteria.  Seniors making the top 10% list will be contacted.  Wear your Sunday best!
 
*Baccalaureate is at 3:00pm on May 21st in the auditorium at Aledo High School.  Seniors will need to wear their cap and gown!
 
*Senior Awards – May 22 at 6:30pm in the AHS Auditorium. 
 
Graduation announcement updated 3/21/17 
**Graduation is Sunday, June 4th at 5:00pm at the Mansfield Performing Arts Center.  12 tickets will be given to each student for family and guests and will be distributed on Wednesday, May 31 and Thursday, June 1.  If a student is unable to pick up their tickets, parents may come to the front office anytime from 8am – 4:30pm to pick up tickets on Friday, June 2nd only. 
 

 
**IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT GRADUATION** All seniors must meet at the high school at 1:00pm on June 4th to ride the bus to graduation, so please plan accordingly.  Students DO NOT have to ride buses home.  Students will need to bring their cap and gown and any cords, medals or stoles associated with Aledo High School only.  Snacks will be provided.  We will follow the schedule below as close as possible.
1:00 Seniors arrive at AHS
1:15 Buses depart AHS
2:00 Buses arrive at MPAC
2:15-3:30 Get settled in your places and practice graduation walk through
4:00 Main doors open for guests
4:45 Graduates head to the stage for processional
5:00 Ceremony begins
7:00 End of ceremony (approximately)
