Bearcat Nation 101 flyer for Saturday August 5What is Bearcat Nation all about?

Attend Bearcat Nation 101 on Saturday, Aug. 5, in the Aledo High School Cafeteria to learn about the traditions in Aledo ISD and the Aledo Community. Come and go from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. to meet and talk with representatives from organizations within the school district, as well as the surrounding community. 

Whether you are new to Aledo ISD or have been a part of Bearcat Nation for many years, this is the best way to learn about school events and youth opportunities that are a big part of the Bearcat Nation tradition. Click here to view a printable Bearcat Nation 101 flyer.

2017-18 Golf Team Tryouts

Girls will tryout on Tuesday, August 8, starting at 8:30 a.m.
Squaw Creek Practice Facility
Boys will tryout on Wednesday, August 9, starting at 8:30 a.m.
Squaw Creek Practice Facility
The format for the tryouts will be a skills testing session in the morning at the Squaw Creek practice facility and course play at Split Rail Golf Club in the afternoon.  Skills to be tested include driving, iron play, short game, bunker play and putting. 
All prospective athletes must have a current UIL physical on file with the athletic trainers or turn one in the day of the tryouts.  There are 6 forms total, most can be done online by accessing the Athletic Trainer page on the AHS school website, and the medical history and actual physical forms can be printed from that site, and must be filled out and signed by a physician. This is a UIL requirement, no athletes will be allowed to tryout without completed packets.
All players must have their own equipment, collared shirts and appropriate gold attire are required, and course play will be walking, no golf carts.

Summer office hours begin Monday, June 5 and continue through July 28. 
The AISD Administration building and all campuses will follow these hours during that period:
Monday – Thursday 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
Fridays – Closed

2017-18 Registration for Bus Transportation

Will your child be riding the school bus in 2017-2018?

At the beginning of each school year parents are asked to register their student(s) for bus transportation services. If your student rides the bus to or from school, the online transportation registration form needs to be completed.
This can be done by clicking here. By completing the form, the Aledo ISD Transportation Department can better prepare for all of the students who will be riding a school bus in 2017-2018. If any changes need to be made or if you have any questions, please call the Aledo ISD Transportation Department at 817-441-5141.

New Student Enrollment 2017-18
  1. Proof of Residency, copy of: REQUIRED
    1. Current Utility Bill dated within 2 months prior to enrollment: Electric, gas, or water bill showing name and physical address of person enrolling student (Cell/Phone, Cable/Satellite, Waste bills are not accepted)
    2. Builder’s contract – signed by both parties. If you are having a house built and waiting for it to be completed; it must be complete within six months of enrollment.
    3. Lease agreement or deed of trust ( requires residence on property- see FD (Legal Policy) – signed by both parties
    4. Shared residency forms – available upon request
  1. Birth Certificate – state certified copy only REQUIRED
  2. Social Security Card – copy REQUIRED
  3. Immunization (Shot) Records REQUIRED
  4. Previous years report card/most recent and/or withdrawal information – for 1st through 12thgrades. All high school students must bring most current transcript.
  5. Last State Testing results

Aledo ISD Back-to-School Immunization Clinic

Aledo ISD will host an immunization clinic August 10 in the Aledo Middle School Library from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.  All immunizations required to attend school will be available for all grade levels.  A copy of the child’s most recent immunization records is required. 

Students with insurance – please bring a copy of your insurance card so that insurance can be billed.  Students who have no insurance will receive immunizations at no cost.
