Bearcat Announcements

The summer schedule for Aledo High School and the AISD Administration office begins on Monday, June 10, and runs through Friday, Aug. 2.
The hours are as follows:
Monday – Thursday: 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Friday: Closed
Aledo High School will have personnel available Mondays through Thursdays for transcripts and driver’s license forms (TEA) through June 27, and beginning again on July 22. From July 8 through July 18, please refer any request for transcripts and drivers ed forms to the Superintendent’s Office. The Administration office will be closed to the public July 1 – July 4.
School starts August 26, 2013.

Seniors 2013 - Please fill out this form and turn it in to the counseling office to request a final transcript sent to the college your are attending for the fall. Fax number for the counseling office is 817-441-5134.

Mr. Bearcat meets lone finalist Dr. Derek Citty
A Tale of Two Cittys was the theme for the Carroll ISD come and go reception honoring and recognizing the services of Dr. Derek Citty, lone finalist for Aledo ISD Superintendent. Mr. Bearcat attended the reception to greet Dr. Citty and welcome him to Aledo ISD.


Class of 2013 Cross the Stage
The AHS class of 2013 graduated in style last night at TCU's Daniel Meyer Coliseum. Highlights included remarks to parents by Daniel Duncan, greetings to teachers by Baker Roberson, and a joint address by Valedictorian Heather Nickelson and Salutatorian Madison Bennett.

AHS Announces New Ladycats Basketball Coach
Aledo ISD has hired Mike Pinkerton as their High School Girls Head Basketball Coach. Coach Pinkerton comes to Aledo from Granbury High School where he was the First Assistant for the Lady Pirates basketball team under legendary coach Leta Andrews. Coach Pinkerton also served as the head girls’ track coach in Granbury. His previous coaching stops include Mansfield High School, Maypearl High School, and as a graduate assistant coach at Texas A&M Kingsville.
Coach Pinkerton also brings Assistant Coach Staci Henyon, who formerly coached at Trinity Valley School in Fort Worth.

Visitors other than parents are generally not permitted on campus.
